SERVICE PROVIDED: We are a full service event/wedding rental equipment company offering tents, tables, chairs, glassware, china, flatware, dance floors, lighting, benches, linen and much more. We offer quality equipment, service and delivery, set up and take down to any location on the Outer Banks, seven day of the week.

BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY: We provide exceptional rental products at a reasonable price for weddings and events on the Outer Banks.  We believe our people, with their knowledge of the area & wedding/event planning, offer the customer an exceptional, friendly place to plan their special day.

 
WHAT SETS YOU APART: We have been operating on this beach for 30+ years in the rental industry.  Our relationships with local businesses partnered with our experienced management team allow us to continue to learn and grow. We offer a friendly atmosphere with a strong desire to help our customer make their event dreams become a reality.

HOW LONG AND WHERE: We have been in business in the outer banks for 30 years. Our sister company was founded in 1979, while Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals was founded in 2004.

BEST ADVICE: Plan ahead; the earlier the better. Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals recommends reserving rental equipment atleast 6 months in advance.  Have a "Plan A" for great beach weather, but also have a "Plan B" considering poor weather conditions and other uncontrollable factors.

FAVORITE PART OF THE JOB: Our favorite part of the job is the finished product.  The day of the event, with the tent and small details in place really make all the hard work very rewarding.

FAVORITE PLACE: The water.  Many of us enjoy surfing, fishing, kite surfing and the like.  The Atlantic Ocean is the reason most of us "live here".

FAVORITE HOBBIES: We enjoy strengthening our Outer Banks community through assorted charitable work such as the Relay for Life, March of Dimes, Food for Thought, Outer Banks Community Foundation, Make a Wish Foundation and other local outreach programs.

FAVORITE MEAL: Pan fried Carolina Crab Cakes served with Homemade Corn Pudding & Black Bean Salsa from our neighbors at Flying Fish.

Ocean Atlantic Rentals was formed in 1979 by Greg and Eden Honeycutt. Early on, this couple saw a need in the community for Outer Banks visitors in search of baby items & beach equipment, which has grown into a rental equipment business that offers everything from bikes and kayaks, to wedding and event rentals. The Event Rental division (added in 2002), offers tents, tables & chairs, dance-floors and lighting to wedding & event planners from Ocracoke to Corolla.
This "good idea" has grown into a successful rental company with 4 store locations and a strong desire to help in the community. Ocean Atlantic Rentals was named "2002 Small Business of the Year" by the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce.
