What is your business philosophy? To evoke the theme, feel and essence of every couple we work with to make their wedding all of that and more!
What sets you apart? I have grown up with flowers. I am a fourth generation flower grower with a degree in Fine Arts. I have found flowers and design to be my medium of choice and am having a wonderful time. We have a vast selection of fun and unique flora growing in our field as well as an incredible network of fellow growers. Our US market is amazing! I have also had the wonderful opportunity of working with some Famous Designers in New York! What an experience!
How long and where? We are going into our 5th year with the wedding business here on the Outer Banks.
Best Advice you have? Hire a Wedding Coordinator, she/he will make the experience so much easier. Hire Vendors you are in synch with. Be flexible and remember the most important part of this day is you are marrying the One you Love.
What is your favorite part of the job? Creating. That magic moment when a bride comes in and has all these ideas, is overwhelmed and can't put it all together - I can see it and the ideas/design starts coming alive. When we are putting it all together and I fall in love with every single detail. And of course the best, most rewarding moment is the letter or the phone call from our bride saying it was everything and more, Thank you!
What is your favorite place? Southern Beaches, nothing beats it!
What are your favorite hobbies? Too many to name, anything having to do with Art, Dance and Theatre. My family. Clothing design, painting, knitting, ceramics, sculpture. GARDENING!
What is your favorite meal?Spaghetti and Meatballs has been my favorite dish as of late. Good homemade sauce and really good meatballs with a ceaser salad and homemade croutons!

Bells and Whistles evolved from our passion for flowers and getting our hands dirty. Not only are we floral designers, we are gardeners. We are good friends, great gardeners, and have an eye and panache for entertaining!
