I will capture your wedding moments in a creative, contemporary style that doesn’t interrupt the flow of your day. Your wedding will be documented with the vivid, lasting images you’ve always dreamed of. The photographs will capture the real story in spontaneous, peak moments, and in special, important details. So in addition to the customary photographs of the wedding party and family, there will also be a natural, emotional story of your wedding day.

With the Outer Banks beaches as a backdrop, I will create an incredible family portrait in a relaxed setting that you will cherish for years to come.

What sets you apart?

My company is quite small, and I intend to stay that way! I own and run the company and am the person you talk to and the person who photographs. I have been photographing professionally on the Outer Banks of North Carolina for over 36 years.
My images are creative, clean and crisp. They’re romantic, fun, and emotional. And just like a good story, my wedding photography will keep on captivating its audience for years to come. With my storytelling approach to photography, the focus is on the overall experience rather than the traditional process of picture-taking.

How long have you been in business, and where?

I have been photographing professionally on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and the East Coast for over 36 years. I was 15 years old when I photographed my first wedding, mentored by the late Outer Banks photographer Aycock Brown.

Best advice for an Outer Banks wedding?

I encourage you to take time to bond with the photographer and to communicate with her beforehand the photos that are important to you. Keep in mind, wedding photography doesn’t have to be an endless series of line-ups and poses. While we must have some, wouldn’t it be wonderful to relax, simply have a good time and know that great images will follow? I encourage the bride and groom to have an amazing time with family and friends, find ways to enhance and extend the best moments.
