Bob Woody – A Wedding Officiant
Name of Business:
A Wedding Officiant
What services do you provide?
I perform wedding ceremonies all along the Outer Banks including Roanoke Island and the Manteo Waterfront to the beaches from Corova to Ocracoke. My wedding and vow renewal ceremonies are inter-denominational in their approach. I can perform interfaith ceremonies as well.
What sets you apart?
My “Order if Ceremony” is flexible, with a basic ceremonial order around which the Bride and Groom can structure their ceremony, including writing their own vows if they wish. Additional ceremonial components may be added to include: Unity Candle, Remembrances, Wine, Rose, Sand, and Family Union rituals, as well as ceremonial participation by family and friends through readings and song.
How long have you been in business, and where?
Performing wedding ceremonies for 11 years on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Best advice for an Outer Banks wedding?
When selecting the person who will stand with the two of you as the centerpiece to your wedding, it is important that they understand and appreciate the surroundings as well as the ceremony. That person should be as connected to love and nature as the sea oats are to the sand, adding texture to an already important moment.
