With the explosion of popularity we’ve experienced, the old site just wasn’t cutting it anymore. So we redesigned it to make it more streamlined so brides-to-be could more easily find what they’re looking for.

But just because it’s new doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten what made us so popular with brides who want Outer Banks weddings! We will still be bringing you all the great information you need to know to make your beach wedding unforgettable!

What’s Changed And What’s the Same?

The Layout - The new look of the site is probably the first thing you noticed. We’ve made the homepage a portal to everything! No more navigating menu after menu to find what you’re looking for. Now you can get around the entire site just from the home page.

The Blog – Now that the blog is fully part of the site, you can read about one of our Wedding Pro’s on their page, and immediately see all the blog posts about that wedding vendor. And all of our obxBrides Stories, blog posts and Wedding Pro’s pages are linked together, so you can easily find what you’re looking for!

The Wedding Pro’s – The Wedding Pro’s page is where the new site really shines through. Now, instead of one big block of wedding vendors, we have a more user friendly menu to pick from. And with our Platinum Wedding Pro’s, you can either click on the picture to get a video or slide show of them in action, or click the text under the picture to be taken to their profile.

Of course, the really big deal with the new Wedding Pro’s page is you can contact them from right here! You wan’t need to open twenty different windows to contact different vendors, you can do it all easily and simply from right here!

obxBrides Stories – obxBrides is all about helping brides make their wedding dreams come true, and because of that, our obxBrides stories are a big part of who we are. And now, anyone who was married on the Outer Banks can submit their story to us easier than ever. Just think, you could be our next featured story!
