3.            Colors

4.            Fruit topped Cakes

5.            Groom’s Cake

A growing trend is the presence of a Grooms Cake.   Though once a southern tradition, it has grown in popularity everywhere.  Traditionally it was intended as a gift from the bride to the groom.  It can be served at the rehearsal dinner or as an additional cake at the reception.  According to legend, single women who sleep with a slice of it under their pillow will dream of their future husband!
